PREPARING FOR LOAN APPLICATION
The first step toward securing a mortgage loan is to collect the information needed to
complete a loan application. Providing complete and accurate information will permit brokers or lenders to
process the loan with greater speed and accuracy. This checklist itemizes information and
documentation that is commonly used to process mortgage loans. Our member brokers or lenders may ask for further
documentation if such is required by government agencies or investors.
NEW HOME PURCHASE
- Check for credit report and appraisal: $375.
- W-2s from the previous two years.
- Pay stubs from most recent full month.
- Bank Statements for most recent three months for all accounts including;
checking, savings, mutual funds, IRAs, 401k, etc.
- Contract Of Sale for property to be purchased, and property to be sold.
MORTGAGE REFINANCE
- Check for credit report and appraisal(typical): $ 375.
- W-2s from the previous two years.
- Pay stubs from most recent full month.
- Bank Statements for most recent three months for all accounts including;
checking, savings, mutual funds, IRAs, 401k, etc.
- Deed(s) for all real estate.
- Survey of property.
- Title Insurance Policy (all pages) from last closing on subject property.
- Homeowner's Insurance Policy
